What’s New in Motorola Voice: Meet Our Latest Products

Communication that evolves with every need

Motorola Voice continues to bring reliable communication into homes, workplaces and businesses of all sizes, with telephone solutions designed for different environments and everyday needs. From traditional corded and cordless phones to flexible combo solutions and fixed wireless phones, the range offers different ways to stay connected, whether for everyday use or when a more adaptable communication solution is required.

At the heart of the range is a simple idea: communication should be easy and accessible for everyone. That means creating products that focus on what really matters: clear conversations, straightforward functionality and dependable communication. As Motorola Voice puts it, its corded phones are “uncomplicated and dependable”, while the wider portfolio is designed around making communication easy and accessible.

Different users naturally have different requirements. At home, simplicity and ease of use may come first. In a business environment, reliable day-to-day communication can be essential. And in locations without traditional fixed communication infrastructure, fixed wireless solutions can provide another way to communicate using existing GSM networks.

Motorola Voice range continues to evolve, with solutions that respond to different users, environments and ways of communicating.

And now, that range is growing again. Meet two of the latest additions.

The new motorola CT200, a new corded telephone with hearing aid compatibility and hands-free speakerphone.

Designed with accessibility and ease of use in mind, the CT200 features large, high-contrast buttons for simple and confident dialling. Adjustable ringer volume and tone, clear audio settings and a hands-free speakerphone help provide a comfortable calling experience. Its ergonomic design and intuitive operation make it a practical choice for everyday home use.

The motorola FW405, a new 4g fixed wireless telephone for residential and business communication.

Operating over an existing 4G network, the FW405 provides a practical solution for homes, offices and other locations without fixed communication infrastructure, as well as for users looking to replace or reduce landlines. It stores up to 500 contacts, supports hands-free calling and SMS messaging with SIM card storage, and offers up to 140 hours of battery backup. It also supports 4G TDD-LTE and 4G FDD-LTE.

Three days in Cologne: what we brought to Kind + Jugend 2026

Days of innovation, networking, and industry insights have come to a close.

Kind + Jugend 2026 ran from 15 to 17 September in Cologne, and if you work anywhere near the baby and toddler world, you already know it’s the week the whole European industry shows up in one place.

With new products on display and a refreshed Motorola Nursery brand presence, we expected interest. What we didn´t expect was the sheer number of visitors stopping by and the quality of the conversations that followed.

The stand was buzzing with visitors, and the conversations were truly insightful.

Over three days, Kind + Jugend once again proved why it remains one of the most important meeting points for the baby and nursery industry. The event brought together brands, retailers and industry professionals from across the market, creating the perfect setting to showcase new developments, exchange ideas and gain fresh perspectives on where the category is heading.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by during the show. Events like these are a valuable reminder that beyond products and displays, it is the people behind the industry who drive it forward. We leave Cologne with new ideas, renewed momentum and plenty to look forward to in the months ahead.

The new products unveiled at the Kind + Jugend trade fair certainly lived up to expectations…

Portable camera with cry detection and translation

The PIP2000-P CONNECT is a portable Wi-Fi baby camera with 2K video but the headline isn’t the resolution. It’s BeyondCry™, the cry detection and translation technology developed by Zoundream and trained on more than 10 million hours of real-world cry audio.

In practice: the camera listens, and the app tells you which of five cry types it recognises: sleepy, hungry, uncomfortable, burp, or irritated. Over time it builds patterns and insights, so you’re not starting from zero at 3am.

The rest of the specification are solid, and quietly practical:

  1. 2K high-definition wide-angle camera, with 4x digital zoom.
  2. Portable, with up to 16 hours of battery life.
  3. Manual pan and tilt (digital pan/tilt in the app once zoomed in).
  4. Two-way talk and a high-sensitivity microphone.
  5. Automatic infrared night visión.
  6. Room temperature and humidity monitoring.
  7. Lullabies, nature sounds and audio books.
  8. SD card video storage, plus cloud recording through the app.
  9. Wall and crib mount options included.
  10. Independently certified data security.

A note we’d rather make plainly than hide in a footnote: cry translation and insights come from Zoundream, with the first month free after activation and a monthly subscription after that. The app also handles cloud storage plans.

Touchless forehead thermometer

The Motorola TE-95 is medically certified and reads without contact, you hold it less than 5 cm from the centre of the forehead, press the button, and the temperature appears in about a second, with a beep to confirm.

The part everyone liked is the colour-coded backlight. In forehead mode the screen changes colour for three seconds so you get the answer before you’ve even read the number:

  • Green: normal, below 37.3 °C
  • Yellow: elevated, below 37.8 °C
  • Red: high, above 37.8 °C

It also stores the 30 most recent readings, timestamps each one with a real-time clock, switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit, and has a separate object mode for surface temperature readings.

No app, no account, no setup. For a sick child at two in the morning, that’s a feature.
